Honeymoon in Tuscany

Newlyweds seeking beautiful landscapes, unparalleled art and some of the finest wines in the world are thrilled by a honeymoon in Tuscany.

Honeymoon in Tuscany

Tuscany is a region in Italy. It is located in the central part of the country. Tuscany is known for being the birthplace of the Italian Renaissance. Michelangelo and Leonardo da Vinci were both born there. The region is home to many art museums. Tuscany is also known for its fabulous wine and olive oil.

When traveling to Tuscany for a honeymoon, the newlyweds will most likely fly into Milan or Rome. Car rentals are available at the airport. It is about a three-hour drive from either airport into Tuscany.  Visitors to Tuscany often stay in small hotels, bed and breakfasts and private villas. There is a wide range of accommodations available. Most visitors to Tuscany choose to stay in a villa or home that is rented out for a period of time. These villas have a personal feel to them, just like you were staying with a friend. The owners often go out of their way to ensure that all the needs of their guests are met. These villa owners often arrange sightseeing tours and other entertainment as well.

La Bandita is one such residence. It can be rented out entirely for a large party. For smaller parties, it functions as a hotel with several unrelated guests staying together. Internet access is free, as well as cappuccino, water and soft drinks. The owner, John Voigtmann, works to make sure that each guest feels at home. Laundry is provided if your stay is longer than three days. Family style meals are served a few times a week, and when it is not provided, you can travel to one of several restaurants that are close by. The goal is to make each guest feel like a treasured friend or family member. For more information about staying at La Bandita during your honeymoon, call 39–333–404–6704.

Palazzo Leopoldo hotel is located between Siena and Florence. There is a restaurant on site where you can experience true Tuscan cuisine and sample some of the local wines. There is an indoor pool and a health center where massages and a sauna are available. For reservations call 39-0577-735605.

There are also many private villas that are available to rent. These range from small, simple apartments to large, luxurious villas. Those planning a honeymoon in Tuscany can contact a travel agency or search online for available homes for rent.
