This small town has miles of sugar sand beaches as well as a quaint middle America feel. There are many different shops and eateries to explore in the downtown Oscoda area, which is also called the Oscoda-AuSable area due to bordering partially on the AuSable River.

The Mai Tiki Resort in Oscoda is located about 180 miles from Detroit, Michigan, and its family friendly location and theme make the resort an excellent getaway destination.

Mai Tiki Resort has 11 cottages available for rental, both nightly and weekly. The largest of the cottages sleeps 10 people and smallest sleeps four, so this resort has accommodations to suit any family size. In addition, the Mai Tiki Lodge is also available for rental.

There are 10 different condos for rent in the Mai Tiki Lodge, and all but one include two large bedrooms. Each of the condos can sleep six comfortably. The Mai Tiki Lodge has been recently renovated and includes Artwork architecture, and each condo has its own sitting room and fully equipped kitchen. A queen size sofa located in the sitting room of each condo provides additional sleeping space for family and friends.

While staying at the Mai Tiki Resort, make sure to enjoy the many activities available in the Osocda, Michigan area. Play on the beach, go boating on Lake Huron or the AuSable River, or even go antique hunting in the areas' 13 shops. There are regulation golf courses as well as a putt-putt golf course, and you can even take a riverboat cruise!
